With over 30% of Tayside’s digital media organisations and businesses based in Perthshire, Perth & Kinross Council recognise the key role digital media plays in the Perthshire economy and fully supports Interactive Tayside in encouraging the growth of this sector.

Perth College opened the doors of its Music & Media Centre in 2001 and offers integrated music and media courses for students as well as state-of-the-art facilities for musicians, recording companies, schools, local community groups, video and theatre companies, touring orchestras, exhibitions and conferences.

The Council’s Economic Development Unit also works with a variety of both local businesses and potential investors to encourage economic growth throughout Perthshire.
